Situated on the foothills of Stellenbosch Mountain, Vriesenhof is recognised as one of the great terroirs of South Africa. Ancient river terraces and commanding mountain vistas provide the backdrop to Vriesenhof's vineyards and hillside cellar. Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 was matured for 18 months in older 3rd- and 4th-fill French oak barrels, a combination of 225-litre and 300-litre. Residual sugar 3.3g/l. Bottled at 14%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Classic Cabernet Sauvignon characters of cassis, cigar-box and wood spice punctuate the nose.

Palate: An earthy structure and intense concentration of fruit flavours.

Finish: A pleasant and lengthy finish.
