The Old Pulteney distillery, established in 1826, is one of the most northerly distilleries on the Scottish mainland. The extreme location and unique pot stills have resulted in a single malt Scotch whisky that has long been a favourite for whisky lovers who chose to veer off the well-walked (and marketed) path.
