Released in mid-2024, this limited edition celebrates the 45th anniversary of King Car Group, the parent company of Kavalan distillery. Matured exclusively in a Palo Cortado sherry cask — a rare sherry style combining the finesse of Amontillado with the body of Oloroso. Packaged in a bespoke wooden presentation box along with a Swarovski crystal stopper and a monogrammed tumbler. Non-chillfiltered, natural coloured and bottled at high strength of 54%. Nose: Rich and intricate, with cocoa powder and citrus, followed by the sweet scents of matured dried fruits, pastries, and toffee.
Palate: Full bodied and smooth, intertwining layers of nutty flavours, a hint of vanilla fruitcake and fragrant cardamom. Orange pound cake with rich dried fruits envelope the palate.
Finish: Raisins meld with vanilla and toasted biscuit, while caramel toffee is dotted with crushed walnut - a rich, multi-layered finish that lingers.
