DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow, Ireland, forming the core release in The Irishman range. Triple distilled from a mash of 100% Irish malted barley and matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and European oak Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Ripe peach, dried apricot, tropical fruit, vanilla and orange blossom.

Palate: Honeyed malt, vanilla, marzipan, toasted oak and sweet orchard fruits.

Finish: Smooth, malty and gently spicy with lingering sweet oak and honey.
