DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from the Bowmore distillery on Islay, and the long-standing entry point to their core range. Matured for at least 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak Oloroso sherry casks, and now presented in the redesigned packaging Bowmore introduced from late-2024. The malt is peated to around 25ppm, placing it at the gentler end of the Islay scale. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Balanced and sweet, with fresh lemon juice and heather-tinged honey alongside a soft, earthy smokiness.

Palate: Warming, with hints of dripping fresh fruits drizzled with flakes of dark chocolate.

Finish: Trademark gentle peat and sweet peat smoke.
