A highly coveted limited-edition release from the Glenfiddich distillery in Speyside. Created from a batch of nine casks (one for each of William Grant's nine children, who had helped to build the Glenfiddich distillery in the 1880s), four filled on 17 July 1937, four filled on 25 November 1939, and one filled on 14 December 1939. These nine casks were vatted on 4 April 1990, and allowed to marry for a further year before being bottled on 26 July 1991. Only 500 bottles were produced. Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by former Chairman Alexander Grant Gordon, who is also the great-grandson of the company's founder. Presented in a wooden case with a certificate of authenticity. Bottled at 43%.
