DESCRIPTION
A permanent core range release from the Speyburn distillery in Speyside, first released in the mid-2000s. Matured exclusively for a minimum of 10 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks. An approachable and classic introduction to Speyside single malt, very comparable to similarly aged, more commercial “Glen” distilleries from the same region, but without the additional marketing levy. Bottled at 43%.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Fresh orange, delicate cinnamon and red apple.
Palate: Hints of toffee and butterscotch with fresh apple pie.
Finish: A long, sweet finish.
