DESCRIPTION

A permanent release from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, in their Double Cask Collection, formerly known as Double Cask but refreshed in 2024. Matured for 18 years in a combination of American and European oak casks, both seasoned with sherry. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Distinctly dried fruit, ginger and toffee, with rich orange and hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
