A limited edition from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, released in their annual A Night On Earth series. This is the second release, inspired by the first sunrise of the new year, as seen in New Zealand; one of the first places in the world to welcome the day. Created from a selection of The Macallan’s American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, together with American ex-bourbon barrels, this release is a collaboration with New Zealand artist Bonnie Brown. Nose: Honey, vanilla, citrus peel, light berry fruit and mild baking spice.
Palate: Vanilla, orchard fruit, caramel, toasted oak and gentle spice.
Finish: Medium length, softly sweet with light oak and spice.
