Manso Sahuayo (mawn-so-suh-whaw-yo) Mezcal is produced from agave cultivated in the region of Jiquilpan and the municipality of Sahuayo just north of Cotija, Michoacán. This maguey is known locally as Cenizo for the characteristic gray colour of its leaves. Bottled at 48.51%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Aromas of pear, tropical fruits, lemon peel, strawberry, cotija cheese and vanilla.

Palate: Pineapple, mint, eucalyptus, berries, green agave, pink peppercorn and cinnamon.

Finish: While light on the initial approach, this mezcal has lasting heat with tropical flavors lingering on the palate and evolving into a salt and smoke finish.
