This limited Year of the Horse edition pairs Kavalan’s Triple Sherry Cask single malt with a branded tasting glass. Matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel sherry casks. The influence of the three sherry cask types adds depth without becoming overly heavy, allowing Kavalan’s tropical fruit character to remain present throughout. Bottled at 40%.
Nose: Ripe, mature berries and dried fruits with fresh grapes and citrus interlaced with chocolate brownie and toffee sweetness. Hints of cinnamon, clover and spiciness, blending into pleasant oakiness and fragrant rosemary.
Palate: Sherry dried fruits, warming and smooth with a mellow texture. Candied fruit, caramel, and honey sweetness; multi-layered and well balanced.
Finish: A spicy and lingering, rich finish.
