DESCRIPTION

A Valpolicella DOC Classico red wine produced by Santa Sofia in Veneto, Italy. Produced from traditional Valpolicella grape varieties grown in the Classico area north of Verona. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by approximately 7–8 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 3–6 months in stainless steel followed by approximately 3 months in bottle before release.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Red flowers, cherry, raspberry and red currant with notes of cinnamon and coffee.

Palate: Red fruit with fresh acidity and vibrant, structured tannins.

Finish: Clean and balanced, with lingering red fruit, spice and fine tannins.
