DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from Chivas Regal, the blended Scotch brand created by Aberdeen merchants Chivas Brothers in 1909. Released in 2018, it takes its XV name from both its 15 year age statement and the grading system used for Cognac. Matured for 15 years, with a portion of the blend finished in Grande Champagne Cognac casks. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Stewed red apples, orange marmalade and honey, with cinnamon and juicy sultanas.

Palate: Smooth and fruit-forward, with poached pear, butterscotch and caramel toffee.

Finish: Rounded and smooth with lingering sweetness and a touch of vanilla.
