More from Blended Scotch Whisky
Launched in 2024, Nectarosity is one of two new additions to the Compass Box core range, alongside Crimson Casks, replacing the Spice Tree and The Spaniard. Inspired by high-end French bakeries, Nectarosity is primarily composed of Highland malts and Lowland grain whiskies. The grain components include Girvan and Cameronbridge, while the malt components feature Clynelish, Balmenach, and Linkwood. Matured in a combination of casks that include first-fill bourbon barrels, first-fill Palo Cortado sherry-seasoned butts and refill sherry puncheons, whisky maker James Saxon used custom toasted and charred virgin oak casks from Missouri twice in the ageing process, first to house new make grain spirit for a year, and then for new make malt spirit for six to eight years. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
