DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Glen Garioch distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Hunter Laing in their Old Malt Cask (OMC) series. Distilled in October 2008 and matured for 14 years in a refill hogshead before bottling. Only 361 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%.

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Spicy with nutmeg, ginger and lactic creaminess.

Palate: Orange pith, green tea with banana yoghurt.

Finish: Spicy with a pleasant tannin influence.
