DESCRIPTION

A single malt from Japan’s first and oldest whisky distillery, Yamazaki, established in 1923 by Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii. Matured in a combination of American, Spanish, and Japanese Mizunara oak casks. A hallmark of Japanese craftsmanship and one of the most recognised single malts in the world. Bottled at 43%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Tropical fruits in the form of peaches, pineapple and grapefruit balanced with soft clove spice, candied orange and vanilla.

Palate: Coconut and cranberry with fresh butter.

Finish: A long finish with sweet ginger and cinnamon.
