Three Ships 8yo Oloroso Cask Finish is the 2018 and third release in the Master's Collection. The peated single malt was finished for 3 years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Only 1,440 bottles were produced, each individually numbered. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a high strength of 51.8%.
Nose: Layers of dried fruit, nuts, rich chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon and gentle smoke.
Palate: Dark chocolate coats the mouth and blends seamlessly with upfront orange, figs, raisins, red berries and crunchy nuts.
Finish: Smooth, lingering with dark chocolate, cigar box and spice.

"This is an absolutely delicious dram. I could start smelling aromas as the bottle was opened. The nose is rich in flavor with hints of marzipan, coffee beans and fruit cake. the palate has a good combination of sweet berries, dark chocolate and cinnamon that leaves a great lingering dry sherry and sweet spicy flavor behind. At this price, I'd buy a case!"
