DESCRIPTION
Launched in 2021, Templeton 10yo joins the distillery's core range of American rye whiskey, with each release bottled from a hand-selected and uniquely numbered single barrel. Distilled in Indiana by MGP (Midwest Grain Products of Indiana), the rye is made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and matured for 10 years in charred new American oak. Bottled at 52%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Rich chocolate and vanilla. Toasted oak, green apple, and apricot.
Palate: Smooth, dark oak with honeyed floral notes and Templeton's signature rye spice.
Finish: Clean and long-lasting with lingering butterscotch.

MGP, formerly Lawrenceburg Distillers of Indiana, is a distillery that produces spirits for dozens of whisky brands and private labels according to their specifications. Templeton opened their new distillery in Iowa in 2018, allowing them to bring their production in-house and distill their own whiskey.
