"I love the mixture of American and European sherry seasoned casks in this dram. The American oak lends it a good amount of softer vanilla and caramel notes that work well with the darker, more spicy notes from the European oak. From what I've seen, Tamdhu goes to great lengths to maintain a supply of decent casks that are seasoned with pretty decent sherry. This is a standout whisky for me."

"A really good drinking dram. The nose is beautiful and the palate is full of flavors leaving a long finish. This is quite a bold whisky and the sherry comes through in many different ways on the palate. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good easy drinking sherry bomb after dinner!"
