The core expression, and a rather iconic one, in the Springbank range. Lightly peated and 2.5 times distilled, from arguably the most hand-made whisky in Scotland. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.

Nose: A vibrant cereal note introduces this flagship Springbank dram, along with notes of gooseberries, mango, vanilla pods, grapes and honeycomb.

Palate: The fruit and cereal notes carry through to the palate in hints of oatmeal, malted barley and orange pulp. Heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon notes develop.

Finish: A characteristic sea salt note rounds off this dram.

"With a wide range of different whiskies and flavors, Springbank make sure to cater for every palate and definitely carry the Campbeltown name high. This dram stands out above a lot of the other ten year old malts around Scotland in my opinion because of the distinct Springbank character that hits the nose and palate immediately which is of course one of the main reasons we all love Springbank. The slightly salty aroma mixed with a hint of peat and tropical fruit carries all the way through to the finish where it leaves you reminiscing about a cool summer's salty sea breeze. Try it, like it and then buy it!"
