Move Over Talisker
"Simply wow!! Very refreshing dram, hints of vanilla and short bread, mixed with soft peat notes and a refreshing salinity on the finish. A MUST have in the bar!"
A new release from mid-2018 when the Old Pulteney range received an overhaul. This release is named after the street on which the distillery is on. Finished in casks that previously held peated whisky to impart a softer peat edge. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Rich and warming. Mellow wood smoke, honey and oily leather with green apple. Creamy vanilla and a hint of burnt toffee.
Palate: Freshly-ground spices and soft vanilla with notes of smoke and peat fire.
Finish: Salty coastal notes and salted caramel.
Overall rating: 4.571429 / 5 from 7 reviews.

"Finished in barrels that once held peated whisky, this is definitely a whisky for people venturing into the peat world. Beautiful vanilla ,butterscotch ,orange peel flavours with a blush peat smoke ,toffee notes with that signature light sea spray."

"A sort of changing character whisky, first tried, very floral sweetness on the nose, light vanilla with slight peat, tried again, had a buttery caramel nose , giving a slight wooded finish with citrus orange notes. Decent dram, keeps you guessing."

"TASTING NOTES "The peated casks come through here as soon as you take a sniff. More of a savory, rather than a sweet nose with further notes of walnuts, orange peel, and toasted malt. The body is moderately full creamy with the dram finishing with a nice bite due to the proof level and a bittersweet taste."

"Very solid whisky Highland malt. Definitely a bit smokier than other Old Pulteneys but still not near the range of the peat beasts, and the extra vanilla sweetness works well."

"Everything you love about OP but with more bourbon cask influence and slightly more smoke."
