A single cask release from the Mortlach distillery in Speyside, by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 1989, matured for 33 years in a refill bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2023. Only 217 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%.

Nose: Orange Fanta, papaya, nutmeg, ripe cantaloupe melon, orange blossom water, cardamom, granite, ground cumin.

Palate: Earthy and vibrant, Blood orange zest, candied grapefruit, ripe mango, sandalwood, lychees, peach Schnapps, fruit cocktail. Incredibly bright for 1989 whisky.

Finish: Rich, mouth-coating, flinty, mineralic.
