DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from Martell, the cognac brand founded by Jean Martell in Cognac in 1715, introduced in its arch-shaped bottle in 2005. XO stands for "Extra Old", meaning every eau-de-vie in the blend has aged for at least 10 years. A blend of Grande Champagne and Borderies eaux-de-vie, distilled from clear wines only and aged in fine-grained French oak casks. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Black and pink pepper and coriander, with fig, walnut and sandalwood.

Palate: Fig, red fruit and blackcurrant bud.

Finish: Long and robust.
