Nice and easy
"Sometimes the situation calls for more volume and less character and this is a good option (as opposed to JW, Jamies etc.). I opened a bottle with some friends at a braai and everyone enjoyed it."
Released in early 2018 as part of the revised Jura core range, entitled Signature Series, this entry-level expression is the beginning of a metaphorical journey (hence the name) through the flavours of the island’s only distillery. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aromas of vanilla, coconut, banana and a whiff of soft smoke.
Palate: Creamy vanilla, pecan pie and a touch of soft cinnamon, fresh pear and toffee fudge.
Finish: Sea-spray, fruit and gentle smoke.
Overall rating: 3.3333333 / 5 from 3 reviews.
