As the only Edinburgh Whisky Academy (EWA) approved course provider in South Africa, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to achieve an accredited Certificate in Scotch Whisky.

Dates: Saturday 20th and Saturday 27th July, 9am to 2pm

Taking place over two consecutive Saturdays, this workshop will introduce you to the wonderful and fascinating world of Scotch whisky, presented by our very own Valentine Maseko, accredited trainer for the Edinburgh Whisky Academy.

The course covers the following 9 modules:

1. The History of Scotch Whisky
2. The Business of Scotch Whisky
3. Raw Materials
4. Production Process
5. Batch Distillation
6. Grain Distillation
7. Maturation
8. Blending
9. Bottling

In addition, there will be 10 whiskies to taste and a final assessment to write at the end of the modules. Refreshments, snacks, notebook and pen, lapel pin and framed certificate (once assessment is passed) are included.
