Part of Glenmorangie’s Prestige Range, this 18yo single malt spent its first 15 years in American white oak bourbon casks. Thereafter, approximately 30% was transferred into Oloroso sherry casks to spend a further three years maturing. Then, when both elements reached 18 years, they were married back together. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Rich, rounded and sweet with dried fruits and a complex floral fragrance.

Palate: The taste is balanced between honey, malt and flowery scents. Dates and figs emerge in the background with a hint of wood smoke.

Finish: The finish is long and enticing with the sweetness of dried fruit and subtle dryness of Oloroso nuttiness.

Worth every penny!

"Extremely tasty whisky. You can easily smell apricot, pears, orange, vanilla, hazelnut and christmas. Amazing long finish."

Extremely Rare – extremely good!

"Sweet, rich and fruity. Sherry, malt and honey. Long lingering finish. Top whisky!"

Top 10 Favourite

"Do not have many in the top 10 when asked. The 18yr is there along with the Signet every time. Had both the old and the new bottlings, not surprisingly, there are some subtle differences, but remain exceptional. This is a fantastic value for what you get, easily comparable to others of an older bottling. Flavours are extremely palatable, nuts, fruits and spices abound, moreish is the term that comes to mind without fail. For drinking and/or collecting, you will not go wrong with the Glenmorangie 18yr."

A Classy Drinker

"Don't drink this while being distracted; this is a whisky that needs (and deserves) your attention. It has great complexity but it's subtle and nuanced. Soft spice, gentle vanilla, tropical fruit, all layered and well balanced. And wrapped up in classy (but not over-the-top) packaging at a great price point."
