Glenlivet 25 Year Old

"I'm not a Glenlivet fan. I find their whiskies lack character or definition. Throw all of that out of the window with the 25. Expensive and perhaps maybe not worth the money but this is a whisky you definitely want to have on your list of whiskies to try. Rich, viscous and flavoursome with tons of stewed fruit and coffee throughout the profile. In a world of diminishing returns, it is sometimes very difficult to justify the climb in price from 18 to 25 year old. In the Glenlivet's 25YO this is not the case. The 25 is simply stunning."
