Released in 2019, this is the second limited edition in the Compass Box No Name series. A blended malt made by combining two famous peated single malt whiskies, Caol Ila matured in refill sherry casks and Talisker aged in recharred hogsheads, with Clynelish also aged in recharred hogsheads and lastly, a small proportion of a Highland malt blend finished in new French oak. A total of 8,802 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.9%.

Best known No Name in my books!

"ironically this "no name" is well renowned and known under Compass Box enthusiasts. To be honest (and it might be circumstantial more than anything else) I enjoyed No 1 a little bit better but this is still exceptional! I love peat. I love Caol Ila. I love Talisker. So obviously as a result this product is amazing! Once again it is astounding how well this combination is done with it just feeling right when experiencing it. I would actually love to compare the components that make up No1 next to this bottle to see if all / any the flavoures can be picked out. Genuinly a very pleasant, lovely all round experience"
