Part of BenRiach's Wood Finished Series, this whisky is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels for most of its maturation, thereafter it is then finished for several months in Pedro Ximenez sherry butts, sourced from the bodegas of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalucia, Southern Spain. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Honey, sultanas, dark chocolate with a flood of Pedro Ximenez sherry.
Palate: Cream and honey, infused with papaya, rosehips, eucalyptus and dark chocolate, all interwoven with rich sherry and oak wood.
Finish: Long, with dark chocolate, more sherry notes and sweet oak.

"The nose welcomes you with wonderful notes of honey, fresh pepper and on the palate and explosion of spices from the sherry cask, same notes from the nose are carried over to the palate. Thick creamy honey coats the tongue. This whisky is one of my favourite with loads of character, semi-bodied and pleasant finish. Make a choice to get your hands on this and it will blow your mind."
