A special release from the very sought-after Ben Nevis distillery, selected by the famous French whisky company La Maison du Whisky (LMDW). A vatting of two casks, this whisky was distilled in February and March 1996, matured in refill sherry butts and bottled in September 2018. 1,049 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 55.5%.

"Official Ben Nevis' are rare finds in SA, let alone a 21yo in sherry casks bottled at cask strength. The refill casks here work wonderfully giving a rich spiced fruit pudding but without too much sherry overpowering the spirit. Incredible richness and balance."
