Released in late-2014 as part of a new range by Dewar's called The Last Great Malts, this is the first official release from the Aultmore distillery in many years. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%.
Nose: A vibrant and fresh nose with mixed apples and pears, a soft floral edge and a lovely creaminess.
Palate: More fruit with sweet barely, custard pastries and a touch of spice and oak. Richer and thicker than the nose suggested.
Finish: A soft sweetness with mixed orchard fruit slowly fading to oak soft.

"This was recommended to me when I walked into whisky brother on the 26th of May. I have enjoyed every sip. I can only hope they get more stock of this lovely bottle. The apples and pears really came through on the nose and taste better so than any other whisky has managed thus far. Thank you for your experience in helping me select the best bang for my buck."
