DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from Astral Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, relaunched by Diageo in 2022 with a new recipe and a new distillery. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave crushed with a tahona stone wheel. The crushed agave fibres go into fermentation, and the spirit is then double-distilled in copper pot stills. Unaged and bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fresh citrus and sweet cooked agave, accompanied by delicate clover honey, tropical fruit and a touch of white pepper.

Palate: Smooth and lively, with bright citrus, natural agave sweetness and clover honey, developing into tropical fruit flavours balanced by a gentle white pepper spice.

Finish: Clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus, subtle agave sweetness and a light peppery warmth.
