DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression in the core range from the Isle of Arran Distillery. With the opening of Arran’s second distillery at Lagg in 2019, the original site is now commonly referred to as Lochranza Distillery to distinguish between the two. First introduced in 2006 and updated to its current packaging design in 2019, Arran 10 Year Old is predominantly matured in ex-bourbon casks with a smaller portion of ex-sherry. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Candied citrus and honey, liquoruice and butterscotch with the addition of water.

Palate: Classic Arran. The citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak and apple.

Finish: Sweet spice coats the tongue, with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon. Long lasting, clean and fresh.

Unique Island Style Whisky

"This is a whisky with a lot of character and ticks all the boxes with regards to presentation. Fresh, vibrant, sweet and sour, well balanced, with the fruity distillery character definitely shining through and complemented by the cask influence giving it just the right amount of spiciness. It's well worth buying and stands out from some other whiskies that fall in the same price range, which can be a bit flat and generic in comparison."

Crisp and tasty

"If you are looking for a change or a step up from your everyday whisky, this is a great one to try. It is very crisp and sweet with a full tangy palate. It drinks really easy and can be enjoyed even on the rocks or neat any time of the day. Worth buying!!"
