A permanent expression from the Lachranza distillery on the Isle of Arran, first introduced in 2006 and updated to its current packaging design in 2019. With the opening of Arran’s second distillery at Lagg in 2019, the original site is now referred to as Lochranza to distinguish between the two. The Arran 10 year old is matured in 1st and 2nd-fill bourbon casks then finished in 1st-fill Oloroso sherry casks for around 9 months. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Candied citrus and honey, liquoruice and butterscotch with the addition of water.
Palate: Classic Arran. The citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak and apple.
Finish: Sweet spice coats the tongue, with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon. Long lasting, clean and fresh.
