DESCRIPTION
A peated single cask release from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Adelphi independent bottler. Distilled in 2016, matured for 8 years in a refill Oloroso sherry butt, and bottled in 2025. Only 632 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.7%.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Richly smoked haddock and hickory embers lead the way, followed by fresh-cut grass, warm cinnamon, damp bungcloth, salted cashews, and a delicate floral note of dandelion.
Palate: An umami-forward profile of scallop crudo and gochujang, complemented by teriyaki beef jerky, preserved lemon, spicy chorizo, and sweet, smoky burnt ends.
Finish: Bold and assertive, with lingering notes of barbeque smoke and savoury spice.
