Excellent Sherry Bomb

"This NAS whisky is jus crazy . I like the balance in the flavours from casks influence .The dried fruit , vanilla , cocoa and complementary nuttiness on the nose followed by explosive secondary dark fruit , hints of cinnamon lingering through to the back of the pallate (finish). Great!! balance with a creamy feel"

A sherry bomb without fault

"If you asked me blind what I thought this was, I'd have thought it was a port cask whisky, yet this is apparently entirely oloroso cask matured. The high abv isn't felt on the palate and there's no sulphur on the palate at all. It's all very clean, smooth and rich. A slight tobacco note but beyond that very sweet in comparison to other sherry bombs. The maltiness is present and doesn't feel like this has been dominated by a sherry cask. Excellent whisky."

Powerful dram

"This powerful whisky opens up with a burst of orange peel, burnt sugar and loads of dried fruit. There is a sweet smell of wort that is quite inviting on the nose and you get the same sweetness on the palate with hints of lemon or lime. The whisky is thick and full and it coats the palate and lingers for quite a while. A touch of water opens it up and the nose reveals toffee and the whisky sweetens further. Verdict : A must have in your collection because of the quality and the price."

Bold and Round

"I am very happy to have Tamdhu back in SA on a permanent basis! I have always enjoyed their whisky and for good reason. This dram is not something you can open and finish the in one sitting but very much an after dinner dram. It is packed with rich sherry flavors from nose to finish and is accommodated by a nice ABV to enhance the experience. 100% worth buying this whisky if you enjoy a heavy sherry dram!"
