A limited edition release from Loch Lomond, celebrating South African golfer Louis Oosthuizen's victory at the 2010 Open Championship at St. Andrews, Scotland. Part of a series of bottlings released in 2022, the year of the 150th Open Championship. The whisky chosen for this expression was distilled in 2010 and is a combination of four spirit styles from Loch Lomond's unique straight neck pot stills and more traditional swan neck stills. Matured in three different types of American oak casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Fresh and fruity, with crisp green apple, peach and honey aromas.
Palate: A burst of peach and pear are met with layers of vanilla sweetness and creamy fudge.
Finish: A long finish with gentle wood smoke and a lingering tang.

"Beatiful fruity notes of tropical and stonefruit flavours standing up very well with a slight hint of woodsmoke .Creamy vanilla and well rounded mouthfeel with a sweetish lingering fudge finish. Great dram indeed."
