Our fourth release with independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd (BBR), a British wine and spirits merchant that dates back over 300 years to 1698. This single cask is from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside and is presented with the new BBR label design. Distilled in 2011, matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023. Only 220 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 58.3%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: A perfectly balanced bouquet greets the nose with vanilla sponge, grated apple, honey and spice, a classic example of fine Speyside malt.
Palate: The palate shows a softer side with peaches and orange before a richer note of spiced honey cakes and citrus rolls in.
Finish: The finish lingers showing vanilla pods, oak spice and the merest whiff of oak smoke.
