DESCRIPTION

A sibling to the Glen Scotia Double Cask, and the first of a series that will showcase the quality and versatility of Glen Scotia's no-aged-statement single malt whiskies. Initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Guyanese demerara rum casks for a minimum of 8 months. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Cooked sugar, maritime sea spray and tropical fruits.

Palate: Rich and exotic. Sweet notes of cooked sugar and molasses are balanced by tropical fruit notes of coconut, banana and sweet peach.

Finish: Warming spice and maritime notes linger.
