A limited release from boutique blenders, Compass Box, launched in 2016. Circus is a blend of four whiskies: two Scotch blends and a blended grain, all of which spent considerable time in refill-sherry butts, and a single malt from Benrinnes matured in a first-fill sherry butt. The whiskies that make up the blended components remain something of a mystery, even to Compass Box themselves. A total of 2,490 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 49%.
