DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Auchroisk distillery in Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing under their Old Particular range. Distilled in October 2000, matured for 20 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in June 2021. Only 233 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.4%.

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Detect a sweet and subtle hard candy quality, with lemon drops and fruit gums.

Palate: Raspberry milkshake, malted barley, cocoa covered pine and macadamia nuts.

Finish: Long and spicy, moving towards orange peel, poppy seeds and saffron.
