DESCRIPTION

Aberlour 18 Year Old is matured using a combination of American oak and sherry-seasoned casks, with a strong influence from Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry wood. Extended ageing brings added depth and oak integration, while retaining the distillery’s signature fruit-forward character. Bottled at 43% ABV.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Aromas of juicy raisins, liquorice and sherry casks.

Palate: A rich and fruity taste of apricot, chocolate raisins and grated nutmeg,

Finish: Intense, full-bodied, syrupy sweetness.

Spectacular Batch 2

"Loving this bottling, beautifully rich and elegant and lot's dates and raisins. Would highly recommend"

Kudzai K. (5/5)

Just the right amount of Sherry!

"A wonderfully balanced Aberlour. Dark chocolate, orange zest, dusty oak and a medium- long finish, make this a solid sipper and a great value 18 year old. If you’re looking for a bit more oomph, an a’bunadh will work well, if you’re looking for easy drinking sherried Whisky that is still very complex, this will work wonders!"

Alex W. (4/5)

Simply smooth!!

"Great whisky enveloping notes of dried figs , sultanas , white chocolate parfait. Hints of spice accompanied by stone friut flavours and a great smooth finish on the pallate. Lovely everyday dram and worth the price"

Thabs M. (5/5)

Creamy Raisin dessert

"A Favorite among many whisky drinkers and for good reason. It has a beautiful nose, palate and finish! The dram is creamy and packed with vanilla, raisins and a silky citrus chocolate that note that lingers on the finish. It drinks easily and is a great, anytime whisky."

Great Whisky

"A powerful nose packed with raisins, vanilla and orange zest. Creamy and rich mouthfeel that coats your palate with those raisins that you get on the nose plus some honey sweetness. A hint lemon meringue on the finish. A very powerful dram indeed."
