DESCRIPTION

A rare release of Hazelburn 21 year old, a triple-distilled, unpeated single malt produced at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. The 2022 release was matured for 21 years in a combination of 70% sherry and 30% bourbon casks. 3,600 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Notes of leather-bound books, bung cloth and dunnage warehouses are followed by sweeter characteristics of treacle, caramel and bramble.

Palate: On the palate there are notes of marshmallow and candy floss, with a syrupy mouthfeel and subtle mineral note. The earthy tone from the nose carries through.

Finish: Notes of cocoa powder, cappuccino and mint linger in the finish.
