Launched in 2018, this is the second batch release of Winter Storm, the third release in Glenfiddich's Experimental Series. Inspired by Malt Master Brian Kinsman's visit to the Peller Estate winery in Canada where they use grapes frozen on the vine to create a dessert wine. Matured for 21 years, the Glenfiddich single malt is then finished in these ice-wine casks for up to six months. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: A bouquet of tropical fruit and candied sweets are perfectly balanced with underlying wine notes.

Palate: Soft sweet notes reminiscent of candied fruit and Turkish delight develop into flavours of mouthwatering lychee. The fusion of sweet flavours is soon met with a rich drying sensation from the ice-wine.

Finish: Short and crisp.
