More from Scotch Whiskies 30 Years and Up
First launched in 2021 as part of an annual series celebrating the longstanding partnership between The Dalmore distillery in the Highlands and Douro-based Port producer Graham’s in Portugal. This 2024 release was distilled in November 1991 and matured for 30 years, initially in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in a combination of rare Colheita and select Tawny Port casks from Graham’s Port. Only 936 bottles were produced. Bottled at 43.8%.
Nose: Manuka honey, rich dark berry fruits, marzipan, and cinnamon.
Palate: Victoria plums, dark cacao, Maraschino cherries, and hints of Colombian coffee.
Finish: Blood orange, moist ginger cake, liquorice, and sugared almonds.
