A single cask, single malt release by independent bottler Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) entitled Heaven In A Leather Hammock, with SMWS bottle code 12.80. Distilled at the BenRiach distillery in 1989, matured for 26 years in an ex-Oloroso sherry butt before being transferred to a first-fill ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry butt for the remainder of its maturation. Only 452 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 59.2%.

Nose: Coconut palm trees with wafts of fragrant tobacco, polished tropical wood and soft leather.

Palate: Rhubarb and custard, treacle and plums. Cranberries, strawberries and cherries with dried cinnamon and ginger.

Finish: Rum and raisin ice cream with hazelnuts and dried petals.
