Released in late-2017, the Glen Scotia 18year old is matured in refill American oak barrels and hogsheads, and then finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks for a year. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: The higher peat content gives a more sweet and smoky character and a beautiful rounded nose.
Palate: Rich deep vanilla fruit flavours, apricot and pineapple, plump sultana.
Finish: Long and dry with gentle warming spice.
