Launched in 2023 as part of The Macallan travel retail exclusive Colour Collection, a tribute to the distillery's dedication to producing naturally coloured whiskies. This 12yo, the youngest whisky in the collection and the age statement with the lightest natural colour, was matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The colourful box with an undulating helix pattern was created by Californian graphic designer David Carson and is said to mirror the unique roof design of the new distillery compound at Macallan.
Nose: Sweet oak, lemon peel with vanilla biscuits and pear.
Palate: Syrup sponge with citrus curd, orchard fruits and a hint of nutmeg.
Finish: Medium with sweet oak and citrus peel.
