A limited release from Isle of Raasay Distillery in the Islands region, first released in August 2025. Distilled in 2021, the peated and unpeated spirit were fully matured in ex-Marsala barriques from Frazzitta, a historic Sicilian producer whose casks were seasoned with DOC-classified Marsala fortified wine for decades prior to use. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50.7%.
Nose: Grape must and dried fruits lead, with red berries and a honeyed sweetness. A slight sharpness lifts the profile, alongside floral hints of parma violets, gentle spice, and a light thread of smoke.
Palate: Rich and fruity, with raisins, caramel, and warming spice, balanced by soft peat. Baked apples with apricots and lingering smoked toffee
Finish: Lingering sweetness, dried fruit, and a delicate smokiness.
