Ardbeg Dolce is the distillery’s limited edition Ardbeg Day 2026 release, created for Fèis Ìle and inspired by the idea of “la dolce Islay”. Matured in a combination of Marsala dolce fortified wine casks, the sweet style of Sicily’s famous fortified wine, and classic bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 47.8%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Apricot, plump raisins, sticky dates and tangy stewed apple, with orange marmalade, softened smoke and deeper notes of roasted mushrooms, pine needles, salted fish, capers and olives with water.
Palate: Cinnamon, star anise and liquorice heat, followed by maple-smoked wood, baked dates with walnuts, honeycomb, dark chocolate, dried fruits, lemon rind, salted nuts and dried herbs.
Finish: Long and layered, with smoked applewood, drying tobacco, bonfire embers and rich, chewy peat oils.
