DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, bottled by independent bottler Single & Single. Distilled in 2010, matured for 14 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2024. Only 230 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.5%.

NOTES FROM THE WB TEAM

Single & Single is a South African independent bottler, founded in Cape Town in 2007 by Yossi Schwartz. It's very meaningful to see the brand live on, as this is the first release since Yossi sadly passed away in 2024. Yossi was a dear friend of WhiskyBrother, and to many who knew him, he epitomised what whisky is all about: passion and generosity This release was underway when Yossi passed, thus the delay in its coming to market from time of bottling. New releases are being planned by Single & Single's new custodians, and we look forward to what's to come.
